- Contact your Conveyancer early in the process (that would be Millard Conveyancing!)
- Immediately arrange insurance cover for the property
- Contact your lender to arrange your finance as soon as possible
- On completion of your two day cooling-off period, pay the deposit into the Real Estate Agent’s trust account
- Ensure you keep your Real Estate Agent and Conveyancer up to date with any changes to your address, phone number or email address
- Inform the Real Estate Agent and your Conveyancer when you have satisfied any applicable Special Conditions
- Sign and return all documentation, forms, authorities as soon as possible
- Arrange the connection of utilities a few days prior to settlement. Shop around!
- Check your settlement statement carefully when you receive it
- Arrange to pay outstanding balances to your Conveyancer by the due date
- Prior to settlement contact the Real Estate Agent to arrange when and where you will be able to collect your keys
